At thalfyroiz, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our embroidery and appliqué services. This Return Policy complies with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Your Consumer Rights

Under UK consumer law, you have the right to:

  • Receive goods that match their description and are of satisfactory quality
  • Receive goods that are fit for purpose
  • Cancel distance contracts within 14 days (subject to exceptions for custom-made items)
  • Request repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods

Custom-Made Items

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you do not have the right to cancel custom-made or personalised items once production has begun, unless they are faulty or not as described. Due to the bespoke nature of our embroidery and appliqué services, items created specifically for your project are generally not eligible for return unless there is a manufacturing defect, error on our part, or the item does not match the agreed specifications.

Faulty or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, defective, or does not match the agreed specifications, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • Within 30 days: You can reject the item and receive a full refund
  • Within 6 months: We must repair or replace the item, or provide a refund if repair/replacement is not possible
  • After 6 months: You must prove the fault existed at the time of purchase

Please contact us immediately if you discover any faults or defects.

Cancellation Rights

For non-customised items ordered online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. This cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by clear statement (e.g., email or letter). You can use the model cancellation form available on our website or make any other clear statement.

To initiate a return or cancellation:

  2. Provide your order details and reason for return
  3. We will review your request and provide return instructions if applicable
  4. Return the item in its original condition with proof of purchase

Return Costs

If you cancel within the 14-day cancellation period:

  • You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods
  • We will refund the standard delivery cost you paid
  • If you chose enhanced delivery, we will refund only the standard delivery cost

If the item is faulty or not as described, we will cover all return costs.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method:

  • For cancellations: Within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return
  • For faulty items: Within 14 days of confirming the fault
  • We will refund the full amount including standard delivery costs

Partial Refunds

We may make a deduction from your refund if the goods show signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning. We may also deduct the cost of any diminished value if you have handled the goods in a way that goes beyond what is necessary.
